Perhaps spring is near for southern areas of Australia.
Officially, it is still late winter - complete with rain and cold winds.
But some trees are blossoming profusely.
This one is in a park at Moorabbin, an inner suburb of Melbourne.
(And it began raining right after I took this photo)

Oh how lovely - and we are nearing fall - and wanting summer to stick around just a bit longer.
What a beautiful cherry tree. It's so challenging for fruit trees to flower early and get hammered by rain.

You have so many interesting blogs and photo projects. The first time I discovered only yesterday. Thank you, that I could attend.
Gorgeous! It's just amazing how full of flowers the tree is.
